Ya Allah, Engkaulah Tuhan yang sangat suka mengampun, ampunkanlah dosa-dosa ku.
`A’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, reported that she asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, “O Messenger of Allah! If I knew which night is Laylatul-Qadr, what should I say during it?” And he instructed her to say: “Allahumma innaka ‘afu’wwun , tuhibbul ‘afwa, fa’fu ‘annee”
(O Allah! You are Oft-Forgiving, and you love forgiveness. So forgive me).

Indeed, I am forever thankful for the chance given for me to understand the purpose of life that Allah has written for every one of us. I will always pray to Allah no less for His blessings and forgiveness.
Today, another lesson learnt; we always pick up the trivials in our daily life that we forget about the obligatory supplications, prayers, etc. The big picture, the life hereafter normally not far removed from our mind in considering, planning our GOAL. The long-term GOAL. We often make the worldly indulgences as our GOAL.
Think for a moment.
Let's say that you were to decide your GOAL in life, a DOCTOR. After 15-20 years you'll be one, maybe speacialist and even consultant. THEN WHAT'S NEXT? publish a paper? help the community? improve quality of life? pro-long lifespan of the people?
..then?..then?..then?
..to me, absolutely INCOMPREHENSIBLE. that's not a long term GOAL. i'll leave anyone to think about this thoroughly and then give me advice/comments.

mine? very simple.
to obtain Allah's mercy and blessings in this world and in the hereafter..and to accomplish that, vast number of short-term GOALs are summated; good doctor, good consultant, good report-publisher..as MUSLIM who truly follows the messenger and Quran.
