headstrong

pinch a loaf
when our day starts with virtue
expect pleasure not
from the world so vain
but from God who sustain

push pull tread throw
big or small
little or insignificant
deep or shallow
holed up or walled
just give it a rant
just so things turn out for the better


stop any absent-mindedness
inadvertent memos
empty tantrums
remind me
for i'm just another son of Adam
bound to forget
bound to make mistake
may the rewards come from God
in bulk and cash

i will stand tall
and strong
for who
with who
let my heart answer that in whisper
allow my actions reply
in sincere gesture
i tough this out
with Allah by my side
